  1. 26 Cobra us a clone of a Juki 341. The mechanics manual for the 341 will work on the 26. No problem. Order the machine. The 26 is not a hybrid. It is a clone of the 341. Parts are interchangeable. glenn
  2. yes Machines are stretched all the time for specific applications. Delker out in Mass. I think was one of the best. glenn
  3. It was stretched. Not the best job cosmetic alloy but looks nice. How good is the drive belt in the machine? The regular 167 manual will work for operations. Parts list in a lot of places still valid. You need a custom top for that one and a longer table stand. glenn
  4. pics of the machine please. glenn
  5. I have a manual for the 30-15 and parts list. Color of your machine? glenn
  6. the 30-1 stitch length is a max. of 5mm. As time goes on the lobes in the bell crank wear reducing the stitch length to under 5mm. Your black machine was made before 1950. Adler started building them in 1900. Copied the Singer 29K. I have some parts. glenn
  7. I believe it will sew 12mm. The lift is that I know. I have never seen a 105-64 with a roller foot. People have thinned the foot thickness to sew thicker. Pics would help. glenn
  8. The cam at the end which is has the race on one side and the pulley slot on the top of the wheel is out 180 degrees. Need to be depinned and moved 180 degrees. glenn
  9. contact Eli Schlabach at Landis sewing in Arthur, IL. He can help. glenn
  10. There is a bolt in the back that lets you tighten the lever up. Should be about the same as on a 205-370, Need pics of the back of your machine. glenn
  11. They vary from hook mfg. to hook mfg. The finger on my Juki 1508 is .134" width. that is a genuine Juki hook. I think the hooks were the same on both the 1508 and 563. The use the same bobbin. I usually round the edges of the finger slot on the underside of the throat plate and buff it so the thread will go in and around it without any hinderance. glenn
  12. 145 class single needle flatbed walking foot unison feed VR ? not seen before 56 ? B class L for sewing leather does this machine have any trimming knives on it? Send pics of the head
  13. servo motor time!! glenn
  14. You take the feet, feed dog and throat plate off the machine so only the needle and the hook are left. This allows you to time the hook to the needle by hand. The hook should be very close to the needle without touching it. I believe you go to bottom dead center with the needle and then up 3/32" and needle should be timed at that point. Distance of hook point from needle should be about the width of a paper business card. Keep in mind the needle deflector will push needle from left to right before hook arrives. I also tell people to deepen the slot on the underside of the throat plate a few thousands so that #138 thread can pass freely over the bobbin case finger. Buffing the slot will also let thread pass more easily in the slot. glenn
  15. Deed you find a parts book for the machines. That will help
  16. Claes parts will not be cheap, but good. That looks like a Singer 34 post machine under the Claes stand? Nice glenn
  17. Also a guy in Lithuania was selling parts on Ebay. may be the same guy. can we get a pic of the part glenn
  18. I have seen them repainted with Hammertone Gold color. Sharp! glenn
  19. Shoepatchers are not walking foot machines. Advertise up in Canada where you are. People looking for them. glenn
  20. Good news. The 200-2 RPX uses same hook, bobbin as the 8346/20 machine of today. I think the shuttle carrier and drive gear are the same as well. . Why make when you can buy new ones. Contact Claes in Germany. I think you can buy form them direct being you are in Poland. glenn
  21. problem with the 29K71? glenn
  22. I have solved the problem of the 669 using a bigger needle. It takes an enlarging of the needle slot in the bobbin basket. I can use #160 and #180 needles without any problems now one I put a bubble on the right side of the needle slot with a Dremel, carbide bit and Flat Mitchell carbide cord. glenn
  23. The slot in the bobbin basket is too narrow to accept bigger needles above a #150. That is why the thread is fraying because the needle is getting caught in the slot. You have the parts list for the 669? If not, go to Durkopp Adler website and then to products. Go under 669Eco and down load the operations manual, parts list and mechanics manual. Page number 12 of parts list shows the breakdown of the hook. The bobbin basket is part #0367156020. That has the slot in it that the needle goes into when it descends to do a stitch. I put a bubble on the right side of the slot so it will accommodate a #160 and #180 needle. Right side because that is the side that the thread come out of the eye of the needle for the hook to pic up. I used a Dremel with a carbide bit and polished it out with flat carbide Mitchell cord. Why the Eco can only use up tp a #150 needle (which they really no longer make) and the 669 Silverline model with toys can use up to #180 is beyond me. Durkopp Adler is aware of the problem because I talked to Ed Atkinson, the head of Durkopp Adler America in Georgia 2 weeks ago. I know they used the same hook from the 367-373 flatbed on the 669 Eco. The 367 had the same problem with larger needles. Send me your phone number and a good time to call. glenn
