Like the title says free in the US. Anyone who can use these message me. I don't use them anymore because I use .8 or smaller thread mostly now. They did me good in the beginning. They work best for 1mm or bigger thread. They are around 7 spi. Just trying to pay forward some of the help and advise and even some free stuff I have been given on this site. This is the stitch with 1mm Tiger.

I have no problem with immigrants either. For 2 reasons. 1. I grew up in Wisconsin and all summer Mexicans were in the state picking cucumbers. And it was a job that was "too low" for the locals. They worked as long as the sun was up. B. I now live in Colorado and I see begging on all the corners. Anything will help signs. With a Starbucks coffee and a cell phone. I'm in the office dispatching now but as of last month I delivered to construction site. What I saw was Mexicans working on these sites. Never saw one on a corner asking for anything. And I'm the 3rd generation in this country from Norway on my mom's side. Her grandfather didn't even speak English. My grandfather spoke English with an accent.

Yep. I have a saw, a sawzall, and a palm sander. It does kind of get on my neck when someone asks about where to get this or that and some jumps in. Just put in on your lathe the get out your mig welder and finish off with a plasma cutter. I started doing leather to work with leather. I dont want to be a tool builder, metalworker, woodworker. Sorry for the hijack. Also if people DO want to do all those things more power to them its just not what i want to do.

A round nurled handle like on the black oxide Tandy one are more comfortable than the flat style IMHO.

Seems like your on point this morning Dwight. What is driving me round the bend is the 67 emails. I keep getting March's email notifications over and over. And since I use my smart phone for most things its going off constantly. I saw the gallery pic when opened the site but i usually look and see whats going on in the sub forums.

It being more porous it will soak in more making it dark and stiff and dry out the leather. Just about everything suede has it's own conditioner ,cleaner and so on.

Doubt it. Oil dyes aren't oil based they are spirit based. You put resoline over pro dyes it's water based. Spirit and water mix fine. As in scotch and water.lol as another member said. Some members dilute there pro dyes with water also. Saying all that. Sounds lime experiment time!

Is anyone else getting all there old notification emails resent? I have received all of march's emails resent to me. A few times.

How to remove scratches from Bridle Leather
Mattsbagger replied to Jeronimo's topic in How Do I Do That?
Bridle leather is generally full of oils and waxes to make it water resistant. That is why it can't really be stamped or carved. That is my understanding anyways. So it makes it very durable for outside usage. I think you can put whatever top coat you want on it. As to the scratches I got nowt for ya. -
Shinola makes baseball leather I believe. Don't quite me.lol

I'd just buy a few baseballs and try stuff out. Find what works for you.

Just wondering. How were they "way off" ? I know there is a guy on here who use her stuff and made a few videos showing them and he really likes them.

Biker billfold
Mattsbagger replied to Sanch's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Almost any long wallet pattern can be made into a biker style with just a few adjustments. There are a few on here and Makesupply has a free digital download one on his site. It uses 3oz leather for the interior and the body. -

First go with exotics.
Mattsbagger replied to Mattsbagger's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Edges are really smooth doesn't show up in pic well though. -
My first go with exotics. Used a piece of Caiman. It is attached to a piece of 3oz then sewn on as a reinforcement panel/accent panel. It is stiffish so it formed more to the backside than I like but turned out pretty good. 7/8 HO.
