  1. Holy cow, that’s a lot of time spent hand stitching to then have it all hidden! Nice job though, thanks for sharing the project with us all.
  2. These are great looking pouches, @Hardrada! I was just grumbling about my pipe pouch this weekend, it’s a cheap drawstring affair I’ve had since before I got into leatherworking. Told my wife, “if only I knew someone who could make me a nice leather pouch!” :-) I’m sure I’m not the only one who puts off these basic projects for oneself.
  3. 2020, year of the rat in the Chinese calendar. Clever and - yes, @battlemunky - cute!
  4. Awesome. Thanks @Northmount!
  5. Any chance of getting this back @Johanna? Looks like the link is dead.
  6. Mission accomplished! The nice thing about specific requests is you know you’ve given something that will get used. My daughter wants a bag but hasn’t given me much to go on, I hate putting work into something I don’t know if she’ll like. Nice work on this one.
  7. Looks great @bikermutt07! Great to see your work here again, as others have said as well. I’ve done short mystery braids but never anything that long, it’s a nice touch on this bag.
  8. I had no idea either, @HaloJones - google says its one of these: https://www.dixiegunworks.com/index/page/product/product_id/3988/category/335/category_chain/578,349,335/product_name/NA3907+Ted+Cash+Brass+Revolver+Capper @ironwrx, looks like a clean and simple solution. Made by oneself beats paying on eBay!
  9. You may not have gotten the color you were hoping for but that’s a beautiful coaster.
  10. Just chiming in to say I hope you take pics as you go, I for one would love to see the process and how it turns out.

    Yeti Wrap

Looks great! I’m a Dodgers guy myself but I can respect a nice Cubbies wrap.
  12. Yep, lots of projects on hold for now. We’ll be back to (new) normal eventually, looking forward to seeing it then.
  13. Thanks @chrisash, I needed it too. Nice pieces @tsunkasapa, looks like you’ve been keeping busy!
  14. Nice work, @AdamZ! Looking forward to seeing the whole thing when the other half is complete as well.
  15. Looks great Andy, both the design and the execution.
  16. What a keepsake! That’s something that will be treasured for a lifetime. Curious on the contents - was it blank, or filled with fatherly words of some sort?
  17. Glad I wasn’t the only one scratching my head about where to attach the keys lol. Nice work, I like the classic colors.
  18. Very cool, @Subterra! Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing more.
  19. Looks great, and will last you near forever. Nice work!

    Travel Cribbage

What a cool project! Using that board will always bring a smile and sense of satisfaction that a plastic board never would.
  21. These look great! Thanks for sharing.
  22. I sat down with a couple of pieces of mismatched scrap to make a quick simple sheath for a new skiving knife I was given for Christmas. Sooner or later one thing led to another and I wished I had started with nicer leather. I applied the finish too soon after the dye so it turned a little uneven but in person I don’t mind the effect, kinda like sunlight through water which fits with the theme.
  23. I like everything but the subject matter... go Hawks!
