  1. Looks great! Gotta see the knife outside the sheath too though, rules are rules. Is that one of Sergey N’s stamps?
  2. “Your knife... will keel.” Lol
  3. Looks excellent, @FriarTuck! I’ll bet she’s real pleased with this.
  4. Welcome aboard, Jim! Would love to see posts of what you make with the beaver tails when the time comes.
  5. I’m personally not of the opinion that our art form is going away anytime soon, but this is a great approach anyway. I’ve been to a couple of the Maker Faire events and they are fantastic for all ages. Something like this would fit right in. What’s with your crafters’ group not recognizing leatherwork though?? That’s nuts.
  6. Man I like sharp knives but not enough to sharpen them in kerosene. I’ve already been exposed to more than my share of Jet-A, no need to smell like fuel if I’m not getting paid for it.
  7. Just joined up, there’s some great stuff on there! Gotta get making some cards now myself.

    buying leather

Have you made enemies who are after you? Can’t think of any reason someone would be randomly including anthrax in your leather shipments, regardless of origin. You may have other things to worry about with your purchases but I think you can rest easy with regards to anthrax.
  9. The mask looks great, and seems like it’s a nice fit as well. I like the style and the color too. But... *decides if he really wants to be that guy...* Isn’t a leather mask a terrible idea in a pandemic? They’ve got to be washed after use or else they’re worse than nothing, they become a breeding ground for all kinds of grossness. How are you planning to clean it?
  10. Nothing to be embarrassed of here, @Chux! Looks good to me.
  11. I’m curious how/where/to whom you trade them? I’d be interested in that circuit. These all look great!
  12. Wait, kilts are unhemmed? That seems impractical.
  13. Just thinking you could set it up to retain the heat when needed but let it ‘air out’ by outside venting when not in use. Probably overly complicated unless it was something you really needed to run for long periods of time and needed to maintain indoor temps.
  14. Call me crazy, but what about mounting the filter box outside with the intake and exhaust hoses running to the workspace? Little heat loss and whatever is in the filter stays outside if you cap the lines. Probably impractical for OP, just musing. Edit: find a way to vent the lines outside when you’re not running it.
  15. Really nice work on both. I love the buckle on the first one, looks very cool alongside the basket weave.
  16. Excellent! Wish I could see the tooling better but the dragonflies look very cool.
  17. Yeah I’m guessing there’s more to the story here. @Paultalks, did you try calling the customer service line as @Alaisiagae recommended?
  18. I might be interested as well. Price range?
  19. Love it! Did you have to copy the topo lines of somewhere real, or just make them look pretty?
  20. I can see forging a £20, if that’s your scam of choice. But a 10p coin? How is that possibly worth the effort?
  21. Your stuff is consistently so clean, with such great attention to the little details. That’s a good looking strap, thanks for sharing.
  22. That’s great, Ferg! Glad to hear it. One down, one to go!
