I've been away from the bench for awhile. Sorry.

    Leather stamps

Quite the collection, Ferg. I’m not in the market but wanted to say thanks for passing these along here.
  4. You’re off to a good start! That buckle is really cool too.
  5. @YinTx, once @Rhale has a look I’d be interested as well, just DM’ed you.
  6. A pic would go a long way here. Size it down and it will post.
  7. Two hands - models LH and RH - a pair of John James 004s and some 0.8mm Ritza 25. Good luck with the puppy.
  8. Thanksgiving is just around the corner for us Americans. It’s been a rough year in many ways, but I still have lots to be thankful for and it’s nice to be reminded of that. Wherever you’re from, care to share a few things you’re thankful for? Let’s keep politics out of this one, please. I’ll go first. I’m thankful for my family. I’m thankful to be employed. I’m thankful for beautiful Fall leaves. I’m thankful for his forum and so many here who share their expertise on a daily basis. You?
  9. Heads up - just tried to look at your site again and got a server error, looks like the site is down. EDIT: that was quick, seems to be normal now. This right here is huge to me as well.
  10. Welcome, Helen. I’m a jack of all trades I guess, certainly master of none. As true in the rest of my interests as in leatherwork! Dive on in here, the level of expertise and willingness to help is hard to beat. Would love to see some of your work.
  11. Interesting. Thanks for this link, I just turned it all off as well. Hard to make sense of the Facebook statement at the top of the page - basically that they don’t list Facebook specifically but still share with fb unless everything is turned off?
  12. This is in fact a huge motivator for me personally as a shopper. I know ‘free’ shipping is never free, but it at least makes it easier for me to know what my cost is as I’m shopping. The absolute worst is when a site makes you log in or enter full address info before you can see a shipping cost, that’s usually a dealbreaker for me unless I’m out of other options. Springfield lets you calculate based on entering a postal code, which is a much preferable method at least. @TonySFLDLTHR, good to know I might have other options by phone, I’ll keep that in mind.
  13. Personally I prefer this for all my old, new, smart, or other water needs.
  14. Did you give it a try, @MrDeeR? Let us know how it went.
  15. Are you looking at really old posts? Some of the older posts where people hosted the pics elsewhere have lost the pics, nothing to be done about it.
  16. I’m on my first full-sized bag right now. I’m happy with the progress so far but holy cow it’s a lot of stitching.
  17. Any fresh news, @toxo? This thread is wholesome and needs an update.
  18. Have you tried that, @fredk? I’d love to see a pic of the results if so, great idea.
  19. Totally. Most importantly, Diresta’s followers have a maker mindset and are interested in expanding their ability to make things using all kinds of materials and tools.
