Chromium-vanadium steel(Cr-V) It has better strength and toughness than carbon steel, so it is a great material for high quality tools. Commonly used for wrenches, screwdrivers, manual sleeves generally use 50BV30 chrome vanadium steel.

Makita, Snaps...oh how I hate them. some times you have to skive out a little dish if they are to short and sometimes you have to add a thin piece of leather. And i have found if the post is to llong, the post can be shortened using a dremel with a sand paper attachment.

thanks for the reply Tom. If you can pull this off you will be my hero. Yes i have a picture of a drawing here it is height of the oval is 48'' width is 24''' This is going to be 3-- 5 1/6 sheets of steel, with the writing on the 1st and 3rd sheet. the center sheet will not be cut out. outer sheets powder coat black center sheet powder coat blue NOTE. the width may have to change to accommodate the width of the lettering/this is understood

I have plenty of pine trees out back. I will use the pine resin with nothing added except maybe a bug or 2 From my research you can indeed carry spirits in these. You can not store spirits in them {Or so I am told} SO, Drink up me mates. We can not let this rum sit in here all day. we must do our best to empty this jug
