  1. Nice work.
  2. Excellent bag. You put lot of work into it and it shows. Looks superb. Wish I had that talent. I'm still trying to make some small purses and although they are coming out well I can see I need tons of practice to even come close to anything like yours.
  3. There is always TandyLeather.com They have a wide variety of chisels and they are not too expensive. I buy a lot from Tandy. Four prong and two will be good enough for your needs.
  4. In my best Darth Vader voice "Most Impressive". Everything looks clean and well made. I'm sure the owner is going to be very happy.
  5. I've been lining with suede for many years without problems. I have not tried chrome tanned as my liner yet. I'm sure my roll of suede is going to last me years. The people I've done the holsters for have liked them and I have gotten no complaints.
  6. Excellent work and video. I like the stitching and the colors mixing.
  7. Excellent work. I really like the addition of the snake skin and it looks very nice. I especially like your inlay and your lasing.
  8. Wonderful. You're sons must be very happy. I hope I can someday make a bag that looks so nice.
  9. In a word, Fantastic. I like everything about them.
  10. Great tooling and basket weave.
  11. It looks very nice. Antiquing is a art all too itself. You did well.
  12. I've only made a few wallets but I have use pig shin for the interiors. It's thin and stiff but looks nice. I recently bought some pig skin that was nice and soft. I think I'm going to make another wallet and use it for the exterior. Moccasins look like a nice idea for one of my next projects. I made a couple of bags and I think this new pig skin would work nicely as a liner. I've just starting to branch out from making holsters. I lined one with the pig skin and the client really liked the different look.
  13. I was at my local Tandy last week, looking for a few tools, and saw that they had some 7 - 8 oz leather on sale. I looked at about five pieces but none looked good enough for what I make. The Salesperson explained that their sale leather isn't always the best and to buy their more expensive leather. It looked much better so I bought a double shoulder. That will last me for a while. I've found a few on line leather companies now that I've ordered leather from. SLC, Weaver, Montana and Maverick Leather have all sent me good pieces. Let me add Weaver as well, I've bought a few tools from them and even had to return a rotary punch with no problems in getting a refund fast.
  14. Very nicely done. I really like this one.
  15. Most impressive. CAS is really popular around here. That is an excellent belt and the shells are perfectly spaced for fast reloads.
  16. Most excellent. Really good looking rig. I can tell a lot of work went into that.
  17. Most Impressive! I really like the contrast on #1 and the simplicity of #2. Both are magnificent creations. Thanks for sharing.
