Hi all:
I've been into leatherwork for archery accessories and holsters for many years when I was younger. I always loved working with leather but as I got older I sort of gave it up for many other endeavors.
Recently I decided to make a holster. I wasn't going to go all out but looks like I'm into it now.
I ordered a few accessories from Tandy. I needed a little leather and they had a sale. Seems that after I ordered the manager told me that I could get a side for what I ordered a shoulder for + $20 so I went for it.
Now, in the space of one month I've ordered about $500 worth of tools and just about what I think I need.
One holster has led to three so far. I'm playing with different patters, trying to find one I really like.
Picking up an old hobby when suffering from Manic Depression can be expensive real fast. Good thing I'm really enjoying it again.
