  1. Nice bag! I like the contrasting colors. About the strap end, you might need to go even more extreme before it looks intentional enough.
  2. It's looking great, Chris! The edge creasing is really fancy.
  3. You had to pay tariff fees? I've ordered twice, and haven't had that happen. Maybe it depends on the amount you spend.
  4. No worries, I didn't think you were. But when I saw their line, I had a "see yourself as others see you" moment. You know how some etsy shops execute a simple design, and belabor it to death, because as a business, selling becomes the most important thing. That isn't what I want to do. I was moving away from the idea already out of boredom, but now I'm probably done with it for good, unless I get a special request. Thanks for the encouragement, I do appreciate it.
  5. Nice job, Chris. Don't know why I didn't see this earlier. Apparently the "view new topics" function works very badly. Funny, I was making a composition notebook two weeks ago, for the first time. Mine doesn't have the fancy-shmancy credit card slots, though.
  6. I'll be interested to see how it turns out.
  7. Very nice! I haven't actually seen very many examples of figure carving, so it was educational to see all the details.
  8. $26 for a 500 meter roll from Abbey England. I do have to admit, the quantity keeps me from having anything more than black and cream in stock at the moment... but I really hate the idea of spending triple the amount, just to buy it in the states.
  9. LOL, I didn't even register that. Maybe they're trying to pacify vegans. Wait. There is NO mention of leather in that whole post. Weird.
  10. I think it's fixed now - I just ordered, the shipping was 18.00, and it arrived in four days. (Even with shipping, it's still cheaper than buying here in the states.)
  11. Oh, no way. The latest blue bag you made is sweet. And the handle is awesome. All they copied was an idea - if all it takes is a couple of clicker dies and stamps, it's a good sign to move on and try something harder. Like... turned edges. :-D
  12. That's a cool way to use thinner leather for the strap. I like all the accents, as well.
  13. Nice job on the design! I'm not a huge fan of those buckles, but that's my only quibble.
  14. LOL, well, yeah. I'll put it on my list along with the fileteuse manuelle.
  15. You are making me think I should try turned edges. :-/ Very nice.
  16. Thanks for posting the video - good tips, and I like how you did music with text in the video.
