  1. I like it. It turned out very nice and I bet she was thrilled with it.
  2. It worked out really well. I have some lifters but still need to practice with them. I also have 935 so I'll try that too. If I can do 1/4 as well as you did I'd be super pleased.

Welcome to LW. It's a great place to learn and share.
  4. Nothing super fantastic, more machine practice. This is a lined double zippered pocket coin pouch. It's a bit of a pain at the top edges where the zipper starts and ends so I'm working on other ideas to get a more finished look in those places. It also needs some leather attached to the pulls. Measures 5 inches by 3 1/4 inches.
  5. Super fantastic! Love the artwork and the colors.

    Very nice work!
  8. That is a very nice beautiful bag. Good work on all the stitching. The handles are awesome as is the rest of it.
  9. Not this customer. After doing some different style prototypes for him he wants a long one in a similar style (long, oval, removable without having to remove his belt) to what you mentioned. I got the hardware for it yesterday so I'll be building it today.
  10. When I use Renia 315 I use a glue spreader to apply the glue by dropping a line of glue by just touching the end of the paddle to the material I'm gluing leaving a thin line (maybe 1/16th to 1/8th inch) of glue. I stay away from edges and stitch lines. I've not done a welt before so I'm not sure how hard that would be. 11. Welcome to LW. Nice looking projects!
  12. More batchwork on a Saturday. Going to get more use out of the CB3200 with these. Now if I just had one of those fancy dance clickers my hands would love me for it. Although in my small shop I don't know where I'd put it.

    Xmas came early

Sorry to hear about your friend but good to hear that he passed his tools off to someone who appreciates and will use them. Perfect excuse to build a bigger shed!
  14. Nice work! I'll be practicing more on basketweave again today. Your work is inspiring.
  15. I got a bunch of the older tools on Ebay. Watch closely there though because some listings on Ebay say they are discontinued tools but when cross checked at Tandy or Springfield 'some' of them really are not discontinued.
  16. Super nice looking bag! I have been debating with myself on a handbag design that would require stitching from the inside. So far I haven't worked up the guts to try it. Since you say it wasn't as hard as you thought it would be maybe I'm overthinking that too. I might try it soon.
  17. Nice looking wallet. Nice design. I agree with the stitches being closer to the edge. I wonder what would happen to the edges when the wallet is repeatedly bent from sitting on it in a back pocket. Will the leather layers split apart ruining your nice edge work?
