  1. i have a new way for me, i use a large round punch either 1 " or 1 1/4" dont remember but i use very light pig suede and punch out a piece then glue it to the hoodicky, wrap the edges around so they are pinned underneath when its set. i like it much more than adding a chunk o plastic.
  2. that's a nice rig alright, my dad used to carry a 44 bulldog as his service weapon.
  3. it came out great! imo the tongue might be a smidge long.

  6. so you gonna pull those guns or whistle Dixie? lol Josie carried Colts that's a Remington new army 1858 ,doesn't matter to the leather though they will pack either one and they are awesome my friend!!!

  8. kind of a thin skinned feller.
  9. yup redneck for sure and a talented one at that.
  10. Ive attached the pommels in different ways with screws or pins but i always replace that soft punk with good hard wood so it will hold. Its a tiger to get a through tang in some of the antlers with the bends in them without hogging out the whole antler. On full size knives i pin the tang also. Always trying to make them better. Thank you i really appreciate that!
  11. those are fine looking indeed!!
  12. lol it would fit great in your back pocket and work great too for helping folks understand what your sayin.
  13. good question i drilled out the soft part of the antler and glued in a wooden plug then silver soldered a wood screw to the endcap and screwed it on.
  14. well thank you, on the tool i imagine it would this was actually my first time using it except for some practice and i got kind of lucky and the length of the stamping came out correct on the side so the pattern fit almost perfectly, across the top i could see it didn't fit so i just stopped after the hearts. i would love to say i planned that lol.
  15. sweet I haven't seen that site they have some nice stamps.
  16. wowzers that is really fine work indeed. i like that stamp too where did you get it?

  19. thanks Its so tiny it seems like a toy lol. really sharp toy
  20. those are awesome no criticism here . My suggestion is to make some different styles knives and sheathes or possibly just some other leather goods. How about trying an embossed leather sheath lol.
  21. the brass is about half guard and half look's lol it does provide a comfortable grip in that corner for the finger while not getting in the way of cutting. i try to make things artistically pleasing as possible.
