  1. nice work, and wow, great photography as well.
  2. You might be able to reach out to one of these folks for guidance...
  3. I have made a ton of bookmarks. Those tooled were 5/6oz leather. No complaints. Then I did some thinner ones recently .5/1oz, but I laser engraved them. They are almost paper thin.
  4. Very clean. With outcomes like that, i would order a larger piece and go into production. Well done.
  5. Did you thin it? How did you apply it? the one i posted in the other topic was dip dyed light brown feibing's pro - not thinned. Sorry for all the questions...still in learning mode.
  6. clean work Chuck. Looks great. Also love the bone handled tools in the photo as well.
  7. thanks for the info and pics. Looks nice. What is the additional charge for that service (leveling / pasting) and who does it for you?
  8. You inspired me @Hags. Had a client "needing" a chest holster. He was very happy.
  9. Just beautiful. No better book to have that nice lookin cover either.
  10. Very impressive. Love the large swirls and 3D effect. That is gorgeous!!!
  11. Super clean basket weave. I love the 2 stamp camouflage around the edges. Clean stitching lines as well. Nice job. It doesn't appear you hammered your stitch lines when done. It may help fill in the stitch holes a bit better. Love the color as well. You definitely went above and beyond by stamping the back too. Nice touch.
  12. Wow. Looks awesome. Nice tight lines around firearm too. Great job. Beats the 6 month wait for sure.
  13. pretty cool. Never thought of tooling rough leather. What thickness of leather? How is the retention on these? What method did you employ for attaching to belt? Do you have a shot of the back?
  14. hmmm. sounds like your IT folks ramped up their security. Mine has too, but fortunately I still have access to this site.
  15. +1 for inkscape. It is free. Not intuitive, but there are a lot of great YT videos to assist
  16. On my list of things to do. Nice job.
  17. Very sharp. Nice, clean carving too.
  18. nicely done. really like the addition of the "thin blue line". Your stitching looks amazing too.
  19. Those are very nice, Chuck! Very simple, yet elegant. Stitching looks impeccable.
  20. Sounds like you got bit bad by the leather bug. Can't wait to see the Ruger holster.
  21. Sorry, just saw your post. And welcome from SW Missouri. I have 3 different size maker's marks I use, depending on the project size. If you would like, I have the ability to create acrylic stamps with a laser. This would be more cost effective to play with before buying a brass stamp (if you are so inclined). Let me know if you are interested.
  22. Superbly done. Wow. That is fantastic. Agreed. Like the color combo.
  23. Very nice. Like the added touch.
  24. I don't think that will be the case. I have conversed with the folks at International Leather Club regarding things such as holsters, sheaths, cigar humidors, and "right to bear arms" key chains. No issues. I am sure rifle slings will be no issue as well. so far, it has been fairly easy to get the site up and running. More to come on sales. I guess the one thing that will be advantageous is that folks looking here will be looking for high quality items, not junk. I hate selling on FB. Everyone wants to pay pennies on the dollar for good quality stuff. Not worth my time.
