  4. Nice looking old singer. Shes a beauty.
  5. Your belts look good. You did just fine. When using eco flo all in one dye, you need to apply it thick & heavy in a circular motion, then wipe. If the dye is spotty, repeat the above procedure. Here is the same acorn brown eco-flo dye on some craftsman veg tan from tandy.

Looks good! You do great work. Love the camo work.
  9. Nice work! Looks great. Lol, I know some truck drivers that wished they would have had that at times. Maybe you could design a slot in the next one for quick to access to paper.

  11. Rocky mountain sells it.
  12. Thanks I appreciate the info. A guy might need a cheap harbor freight press for a stamp that big!
  13. Looks good. Frodo what are them made out of? Looks like laser etched wood. Thanks.
  14. Weaver leather has them. 7/8" diameter with a 5mm hole. So you might need to drill it out.
  15. Looks great! Nice setup. You do fine work.
  16. You can sharpen the outside bevel of the hole punch by hand on a stone, belt sander, sand paper or whatever you may have. Then you can use a 240 grit tapered cartridge sanding roll to clean up the inside of the hole punch. Just stick the cartridge roll in the end of the punch & give it a couple twists back & forth by hand & your punch will be sharp. Also they come in different diameters. These are a 1" diameter at the large end & ⅜diameter on the small end. Hope this may help.
  17. Do you think applying neatsfoot oil the day before helps with a more uniform dye result? That's kinda my taking on it, but maybe I'm wrong. Thanks.
  18. Thanks billybopp. I make a lot of belts so I'll try that technique & see how I like it on my belts.
  19. Thanks billybopp. I appreciate the info. I'll give each a try at some point. Does it take a lot of dye to dip dye? Or is your dye quite diluted/thinned when dip dying? Thanks.
  20. Guys & gals I recently got some fiebings pro dye & just curious on some usage tips & tricks. I plan on airbrush applying to my leather. So is it best to dilute/thin the pro dye with denatured alcohol? What's the best thinning rate for airbrush use 50/50? Can pro dye be applied by sponge & how does it apply/act in that type of application? Thanks any & all help will be appreciated.
  21. Give this place a shout. I bet they got something.
  22. Thanks fredk I was beginning to think nobody here has made or messed with it. I was beginning to think I made a bad choice of keeping some water buffalo in stock/on hand. But something about its natural texture I love. Thanks.
  23. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I'll see what I think of it once the leather arrives.
  24. Goat skin should be ok I would think. There is also kangaroo if you want something a bit more fancy/priced.
  25. Get a oblong bag punch, whatever your widths of your foot straps are.
