  1. Maybe a dark marksalot and the point of a edging beveler/burnisher? I ran an ad on next-door for a wood turner. I got a response, and for a contribution to a local charity I got a burnisher turned with a point on it. This is great for those inside spots that need a bit of burnishing.
  2. No worries Randy. Pm me if you have any questions. Looks like you're on the right path!
  3. I've done three so far, all Bersa 380s. All with belt clips, all 3 black.
  4. Very nice, or, mui bueno mi amigo!
  5. As above, what could it hurt?
  6. I still have you pattern for a glock 19 in the drawer. Works well.

    Go with it!
  8. Welcome!
  9. Man I want one of these! I can think of a ton of apps for the local golf course, holsters, making cut and carving patterns. The list just goes on!
  10. I like it. I've had customers ask that I put it on the front before. I had mine made by Leatherstampmaker, one of our supporters here. You can get a heating iron for it to do other leathers that dont take an impression well
  11. Teamwork! Very nice. My wife sews and we have collaborated on a few projects.
  12. I see maybe some airbrush here?
  13. Nice job! And I get excited about holsters!
  14. I like these. I made a very simple one for a timber cruiser that wanted to pack a 30/30. 1" 8/9 oz HO with a 2" pad of 5/6 HO. Not quite what you have, but, thanks for the inspiration!
  15. Thanks guys. Fun build. This guy drove 4 hrs one way to have this built.
  16. Great idea! I have a piece of round stock, 1.5 inch x 2 that I use for much the same purpose.
  17. Ditto Dwight. I usually put the wet holster under the hair dryer on low for 15-20 minutes in between hand molding after taking it out of the bag. Rain just doesn't factor for me.
  18. I was asked to build a chest rig for a S&W 29-3 6 inch 44 mag. AKA "do you feel lucky?". He also wanted a speed loader pouch attached. This a pre finish pic, its me wearing it, missing the loop to the belt. But pretty much complete. Forgot to take a final pic dang it.
  19. I have used wet/dry sandpaper in the past. Starting with 600 and going as far as you want. I just taped them to the table, sprayed a bit of water on them and went at it till I got it sharp. On the inside I used a popsicle stick with sandpaper wound around it till it fit. I have found d a Tormek grinder recently that makes the outside much faster to do. I also sent back a C.S. Osborne punch. Not impressed at all. The one one I got from Weaver was wicked sharp on arrival.
