  11. lol if i did it would be a simple sleeve type 4 oz leather about 10 " inches or so longer than the gun with a simple leather tie, handle right at the balance point of the rifle. Bison brown with some mottling to look old. Not that it thought much about it lol.

  16. We eat a lot of chicken too mostly country fried in a big ole cast iron skillet with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. perfect meal IMO . But yesterday it was a trip to the river not the store lol. Ate till i almost busted a gut . cooked em up southern style , with corn on the cob, taters, and sausages. Took about two hours to catch them but the water was warm the sun was shining and it was friggin great fun.
  17. great restore and great belt i that stitching makes it pop.
  18. whack em once with that tote full o tools and they will quit bothering you.
  19. OH heck yea she looks just like mine. I love that old girl Mine shoots best with heavier hard cast lead. It used to be my play gun growing up there was no hammer or mainspring so i played with it and kept it by my bed lol. Back about 75 or so my dad bought the parts and fixed it back up. As a kid he used to shoot 410s out of it lol. surprisingly the rifling is still fair enough to hunt with took a few deer and antelope with it. Love old iron!!!!!
  20. carbine or long rifle? Mine hangs right over my leather bench. I would use somewhere about 3/4 oz for the body and maybe heavier for the ends and zipper areas or just double it up if you want a stiffer case. So have you figured out how to get 70 grains of bp in those cases lol.
  21. thank you Stewart i appreciate that
  22. thank you. yea i only take what i need from the wild I don't kill stuff just for fun or to line my wallet but if they are in town i make sure they don't hit a kid or dog then i use them. thanks Hags yea crappie is a step up or more wish we had them here. We are going crawdading tomorrow lol cant wait.
