  1. Excellent! Just like something out of Big Jake!
  2. Not if he ever wants to sleep in the house again!
  3. Another marking is a numeral, let's say 18, with a smaller number, 1-4, underlined, indicating quarter feet. So, 18 with a smaller 3, underlined, would be 18.75 sq. feet.
  4. Nice job! We don't have those up here in the PNW, but I remember seeing them when I was stationed at Ft. Lost in the Woods. This time of year our most colorful bird is the Flicker.
  5. I saw them in Frankfurt, and you?
  6. Today it's some Big Brother and Janis. Back to my early high school days.
  7. Nice! Takes me back to when I used to fight in the SCA.
  8. You can reduce the dye with either denatured or isopropyl alcohol. And clean brushes as well.
  9. Yes, I am part of the crowd on the triple. It was quite a concert.
  10. We went to see ELP when they did the tour that became the Welcome Back My Friends album....with "27 TONS OF EQUIPMENT".
  11. I used to blow things up for the Army. I worked around power tools and heavy equipment for the next 45 years. Rock'n'roll had NOTHING to do with my hearing loss.
  12. I concur, very nice.
  13. I use plastic "disposable' putty knives. Get them at any hardware store. When done, let adhesive cure and rub off with an eraser. Homax 1-1/2 in. Putty Knife-00015 - The Home Depot
  14. I, for one, like to have tunes going when I'm back at the bench. I have a very wide range of genres I listen to. Celtic, classic rock, zydeco, Texas swing and more. Generally I bring Pandora up and put it on 'Shuffle' and listen for hours. Post a link to one of your favorites and share. Here is one of my current favorites. Ed Sheeran & Beoga - Nancy Mulligan | The Late Late Show | RTÉ One - YouTube
  15. I wash all my dye rags, never had a problem with it getting into the washer. Oil rags I let air dry and throw away. I've always heard oily rags can cause fires. Urban legend? Perhaps, but rags are cheap.
  16. My wife makes them out of Pendleton and Hudson Bay blankets.
  17. I use Magic Markers on my edges. One or two passes does it.
  18. When I was in the 8th grade (about 55 years ago) we visited my aunt and uncle in Jacksonville Beach. Our last night, there was a big storm, wind, driving rain, just plain nasty. Driving back across north Florida and into Alabama it had snowed, and little kids were trying to get snowmen moved into the shade.
  19. Just a suggestion, use a ribbon instead of leather.
  20. I like it. I think most books could benefit from a nice leather cover.
  21. Very nice. I like the texture you achieved on the trees.
  22. My son worked for a truss company, and part of his job was to haul the sawdust and small blocks to a waste site. The same waste site that the countertop guys took their scrap to. He got me a 25x32 piece of marble for nothing.
  23. Beautiful!
  24. I was right, my lady friend LOVED it!
