I had a person ask me about a holster for a sig 938. Bought a blue gun, made the wood templaoff online dimensions for the mag. No charge for the mag pouch. My experiment.The background is a piece of who knows how old piece of I think is skirting. Probably 13/14 oz. I had to lay it on the deck and put bricks on the end to hold it open and hose it down. Not good for parts, but dang that's cool texture and color.

I would say yes. But be sure you dab it on, not rub or brush. It will take the paint right off if you dont. Joe Meling has done a finishing video on YouTube a out this if you want to look it up.

I like the paint options. I use them here and there. I also use resolene 50/50 mix with water for my holsters. I would oil liberally at the fold and let dry before sewing and finishing to help with flexibility.

Not sure what the issue is. Some clarity would help. Other than that, fiebings pro dye, light or dark brown.??

I use the card stock paper, letter size for 90% of my holsters. It goes through the printer easily as well.

That deformity at the belt slots is from a very heavy belt piece I made to ensure the curve of the holster whi,e drying. I might need to round those edges a bit more, but it does ensure the proper arc of the back of the holster.

I've been making holsters, but haven't posted since mine are pretty much the same. But, this was a bit unusual and I thought you might like the story. I had a guy call me about making 5 holsters as Groomsman's gifts for his wedding in June. 3 1911's, a Car (Khar?) 45, and an unknown at this time Sig. This is the one for the groom, Kimber 45 acp CUSTOM II. I really like these, might be my next purchase. One of the 1911s is going to be a daisy bbq gun for his 9 yo son, who is going to be his best man(he wants him to have a holster he can grow into). So one for the groom, one for the best man, and 3 for the Groomsmen. All in dark brown, with groom, best man, and groomsman stamped on the back. Herrmann oak 7/8 oz Febings pro dye dark brown Resolene and water 50/50 Cobra class 3 with 277 top and bottom.

I use the set of setters from Buckle guy. BG copper/brass rivet setter set. 3 punches, one hollow for setting washer, one small dimple for setting the rivet after cutting, and one big hollow for doming the flat rivet head. I've been very happy with them. About $60.

Getting hard to find here on the Olympic peninsula here in Washington too. I also have to rely on Home depot. I can get the smaller bottles, but really like the quarts. Brandon will say it's a Putin shortage though.

Liquid glue, squirt bottle. Glue has been coming in them for years.

I use a 1 ton arbor press from HF. 2 foot cheater bar. And it works ok if I use one side then the other on up to 9/12 HO for a 4 inch round coaster. I have also broke one off at the base with the cheater bar trying to do it all at once.
