    d-2 is high carbon AEB_l is stainless That's the biggest diff. Both make excellent blades. Folks tend to talk up certain steels but in the end its the tempering that makes the knife.

    what you will learn is that leather will form to whatever shape you make it form to, by the time your done making your briefcase it will be flat and not a flop. Just keep going.

    You are buying the best of the best in brand names my friend you can get just as good much cheaper. Sorry but paying 140 bucks to punch a hole in leather is just dumb when there are plenty of good alternatives so I guess my answer is no they don't perform better that cheaper alternatives. I will say i have never used a Blanchard but i will also say i have never needed one my cheaper ones are fine. I use craft tool pro series diamond chisels and they work well for what they do. if your making bags totes and boxes you will need punches. The punches are for cutting inside corners, Card slot ends, strap slots and such. As well you will need a stitching clam or all that hand sewing will be really sucky to do. You might also get rivets or snaps and a setter. Strap cutting tool is also helpful.

    oh Jeez in your country too? I don't know what to say anymore or how this entitlement crap ever got started its friggin insane. Vegans do have their place but are ignorant of basic human biology. These virtue signaling types kill me, If they met me during hunting season they sure wouldn't like me and my smoker LOL. or me hanging my critters in the garage next door or me tanning my hides. But if they met me on a day of foraging for wild edibles they would follow me around like half jacked off dogs lol. Keep that old bbq going man the new are crap unless you buy really expensive you wont get anywhere near the quality. Hope your folks are doing well my friend hang in there and have a great day !!

    thank you! You know i didn't know how much i just missed practicing. I used to shoot every day after work to get rid of the stress man it still works.

    whats nice you can clock your arrows so that when you reach around and pull one its aligned with the string and ready to knock up with out looking.

    it is leather two pieces of 10 oz formed in a vice. The holes are the same size as my arrows 11/32" the basket 3" deep 14" circumference it is not adjustable the arrows fit tight so it doesnt matter the length between the basket and holders but the original was 14" so this one is too. I have others and they are all about the same length give or take. i used the metal frame from the original It is aluminum. One other thing Fred there is a piece of foam that goes inside the basket to keep the arrows from knocking around, i use the closed cell springy stuff, don't know what the name is. They keep your arrows nice and protected from knocking around.

    Sounds like you need to do some trapping. Mine came on a PSE, first compound i owned, now I'm liking shooting the recurve again. Great way to spend an evening practicing.
