    When I opened the site in the past the whole page was show of now its a 3/4 page with a topics page on the right side was this a change leatherworks made or did I do something. I'd like it back the way it was

    I wouldn't use wood as it might mush when you hit it, splinter and just make a mess. I get some 1/8 or 1/4 flat steel bar what ever width you need from home depot. inch or inch and a half works for mot projects zi have had to do that way. works also when you forget the snap LOL

    @Handstitched How long do you make your thread when starting to sew a belt. I mean you can't make it in one thread length can you and how do you hide were you start and go from?

    personally I would not wrap stitching Irons in leather, altho they may look nice I think that it would make them awkward to use.JMHO

    This is how I use up scrap . I pass these out to Veteran's I meet when I'm out shopping or what ever. Their always happy to receive one of these, Its not scrap anymore I just started my 3rd bag of rings 100 per bag.
