    They are 5-6 inches wide but anything past a couple inches is a struggle. I tried to split a wallet back and I'll leave it at tried.

    I hope you ordered all the obvious wear and tear parts because you can them dirt cheap when getting the machine. Hook, bobbins ect

    Thin it with a little water if needed otherwise it's probably fine for edges or burnishing the flesh side. I have some that's a little runny and some that's really thick. Still works fine.

    Can you refill the canister with air to re-use or is it one and done?

    One of the cheaper/easiest and good product is parchment paper. Yup, the kind for baking and such.

    Is it for solid steel or a pipe?

    Would a pipe bender be the same or do these specialize the widths of the bends and what not?

    Try letting the resist sit overnight. I thought it was good after a few hours and night and day difference sitting overnight.

    SLC ships their stuff out with heat packs that I've had shipped in the middle of Jan. and was fine.

    As @PeterinID and @GatoGordo said vasoline and try a hair dryer on the threads.

    I wouldn't think it would be a issue if you're going to slick it with Trag or Tokenole. I ones I've had the same problem with I've put baby powder on it. I just finished a wallet with Tokonole and didn't have any stickiness to it after .

    It's the issue on a lot of wallets where the issue of continuing the stitch becomes a problem. The thicker/bigger thread needs thicker leather to hide the knot when sewing then comes the jump from thicker to thinner will change the stitch length. Hand stitching is the fix but who wants to hand stitch when you got a sewing machine. When I do bill-folds I cut the dollar inside piece with the cc pockets less wide so I can do one continuous stitch all the way around.

    Granted, there is no exact way to do anything but I'd bet the majority of people oil first to allow the dye to be evenly applied There was a discussion just a few weeks ago where someone had a issue dip dyeing and several people had the same problem and some said it was the dye.

    How could it not? The longer distance between each stitch will affect the top bottom pull because of the distance. A long stitch will be looser than a short one or are we not talking about the same thing? I'm looking at it as you do a long stitch on a curved seam and flip it inside out it's going to look loose where the shorter stitch will be tighter because of the distance.

    Local is nice but it's also a 2 way street meaning the local guy is going to tell you to bring it in and probably going to give you a bill after. The machines you're talking about are 100t pounds for the head. Someone like @CowboyBob or LMC have great customer service and are willing on here or the phone to help you through which ever issue you have.
