  1. I can't help with the history of the tools. I'd say it's priceless though. A piece of family history and heritage. Something to keep in the family and carry it forward ! Well done
  2. You will need to account for the thickness of leather for your folded over parts and allow for a stitch allowance. I would figure out what I wanted in the roll and do a practice fit by laying it down on theater leather and folding over the bottom piece.
  3. Post a tutorial on the shoes!
  4. Thats impressive
  5. I think a good striking surface should also be added to the above good advise. Appropriately cased leather won't mean a lot if your Stamps are bouncing all over the place
  6. So you pressed the woodcut into the cased leather.?
  7. I like this
  8. Looks good to me. I like the paw prints on the buckle holes. Really nice touch
  9. I like how you did this. Great job!
  10. I'm making a bee keepers belt and was looking around for a hex stamp. So hex nut it is!
  11. Really nice work. Well done
  12. I really like the look of this. Great job
  13. Yes. I think that quality being reflected in price ended decades ago. GENERAL STATEMENT!
  14. No offense but you were not the first to make a leather book cover. Or put an elastic band in it or a pen holder and image. Even tho he said he saw your work and copied it I'd say you have no grounds for anything here. And if you did you should hold onto whatever money you have for when the next person comes along and says you copied their design for your book covers. I'm not meaning to be rude or belittle what you have created but you didn't do it first. If you...or anyone want to win this race then market smart, sell better, sell more and sell faster!
  15. Totally cool. How did you make the stopper
