    New work

I always look forward to seeing your work
  2. So I've been insanely impressed with these 3d carving and sculptures. So much so that I've tried my hand at a koi fish. For an experiment it turned out OK. I'll upload a pic when I figure out how to resize things. But I'm really interested to know how to make it pop. How to really make the relief stand out. And how to keep the flat bits flat and formed bits formed! So far I've just used a swivel knife and modeling spoon. Tips and advise really really apreciated!
  3. Those are great looking sheaths ! Your girls will be proud of those
  4. That's a great fix !
  5. This type of sheath design (didn't know it was called split toe) has more and more come up on my radar. I think I'll give it a shot.! Thanks for the post
  6. Are you saying that this blade cut through the welt and the seam or just the seam threads ?. I have seen welts made of wood with holes drilled through for the thread. Or a kydex liner with leather wrapped around it?
  7. It's a plastic strap....
  8. Very impressive! What leather weight?
  9. He's gonna love that!
  10. Is the E tool MOLLE compatible?
  11. I watched a TED talk on this product a few months back. The speaker was wearing a vest made of it. She had the grace to say that the product was aways away from being stable and the the vest she was wearing in the 20 or so talk was already falling apart. Stabilizing the product was the issue. I'm betting that some sort of glue/ petroleum based product will be used to fix that issue...more plastic !
  12. I just made a sheath with my boy using that method you spoke of Jeff. Turned out OK. I don't skive a lot but the kbar sheath design called for it. I think I'll do it again for sure.
  13. So basically a phone slip case? 2 pieces of leather tooled as you see fit plus the belt loop.
  14. Simply incredible
  15. Well done you!. Stick it to the man
