Two of the older guys at Tandy took a class at our Dospace (probably the same as your maker Space), they really seemed to enjoy it, and the journal covers and other stuff were all really cool!

I’m at Tandy Omaha, and I’ve only been with Tandy a short time, but think I may understand the pricing “anomaly”. I would figure that the 189 price was a flier, probably monthly, with a general sales ad. The 169 price for all levels was probably a “let’s get this moving now” online only offer from corporate to clear the warehouse over stock or something like that.

Having owned chinchillas I can tell you that their fur is an escape mechanism. Or it sure seemed that way. Soft as baby hair, but any change in temp makes them drop fur. Worse than rabbit which was really popular in the 70s-80s. Buy a rabbit coat one year and the next year it has mange... ick. Meanwhile I have found 40-50 year old mink and fox coats at estate sales in perfect condition. I think sable is in the weasel family like mink, so yeah, Russian sable might be the most stable. Cold weasels... lol. Human skin isn’t used much because I was always told our skin is inferior to pig skin, not to mention the fuss other people make about its use. To Serve Man!

That is so cool! How are you getting the wood grain look?

One of these days I will post the other stuff I’ve made. Not just the chaps. Which were really just a size adjustment.

Your stitching is VERY good for freehand. My stitches are much more wobbly than yours. And as I said on another thread, the different colors on the pockets are kinda growing on me. So, have you figured out how that came about?
