  1. Very nice !!
  2. Check out Sam Andrews on youtube . Andrews leather I think . You will think he is nuts the first time you see him cutting , at least I did . Now that is the only way I cut but I use something like an exacto knife with # 11 blade .......... works real well for me !! 9/10 oz is the thickest I cut though
  3. My EDC is a shoulder holster that I use with whatever I carry ( revolver 98% of the time ) semi auto on rare occasions . Then there are a very few times I need to go somewhere I can't carry so this is my work around ... better than strong language
  4. I like the diamond shape better but as you say " personal preference " . For what I am wanting 3/8 (10mm ) is plenty big enough . I see your reasoning but I may have enough quilting coming to justify getting a stamp .
  5. @PastorBob Yes Sir , SLC is where I found them . Is the 296 the same as your diamond quilt pattern ? @fredk Thank you for the info and that would be about right . After I looked at shipping ..... I think II can get it for a little less and maybe quicker through SLC .
  6. Thank you fredk ! Both are very much what I have in mind and the prices seem good as well .
  7. OUTSTANDING !!!! and again Thank you , like you I had to take a break but this will prompt me to start again .
  8. Looks good ! I can almost see your reflection in the edge
  9. Thanks chuck !! Your cup looks great and that is almost exactly what the 296 stamp looks like .
  10. I need to get a quilted center stamp ( like 296 ) but this is close to what I want for the final look .
  11. Just a thought .... Would not the person you bought them from have the information you seek ? edit : really quick search suggest that they be worn -in and they will loosen to fit your hand
  12. Looks great !
  13. Look at router pads or maybe even shelve liner , might be something you could use . Hope you find something !!
  14. If you are just talking one or two times use , a brooch or woman's lapel pin might get the job done . Most are pretty detailed and made of metal , price would be right . If you are needing a REAL stamp, I have wasted your time reading this LOL!
  15. @Stewart Thank you and I am going to have some fun with this .
  16. Horse goes UNDER the saddle , butt goes IN the saddle ( sum of my knowledge ) But that is beautiful !!!!!
  17. I've heard that there is one in every crowd ...... and I must be him least that's what my has has told me !
  18. Very nice and an excellent use of scrap
  19. who hear a different drum than I I have actually had a couple of local folks say " well , I thought coasters were round or square " so I came up with this to appease them . Needs some work ....
  20. Very nice !!!! My tries at basket weave have not been good
  21. @Wild Bill46 Just post some pics when ya get them done I wish it was my idea but truth is I borrowed it from somewhere .
  22. OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!!! Those are the kind of things that will get passed down . I think she is a genius for the idea .
  23. @Hags Man that is great , these kinds of things are appreciated more than we know some times , like a kind word .
  24. Those are nice , that looks like a LOT of hand stitching . I have not tried wallets or card holders and when I do it won't be for my wife ...... it would take a double shoulder and 200 ' of thread for her wallet @PastorBob Yeah , after some thought I bet most here get to make quite a bit for their girls @battlemunky Sounds like I may be lucky in that I don't know how to make stuff like that LOL !! Naw just kidding as it would be a pleasure to make things for them to use and cherish . " Shark wallet " is just plain COOL !!!!!!
