  1. Well I will upload the third one when allowed . shoulder holster # 3.pdf
  2. shoulder holster.pdf shoulder holster #2.pdf
  3. I don't know if this would help anyone but I altered the Al Stohlman rig from " How to make holsters " . This is very comfortable to me . I have tried to create a PDF file and could not figure out how to get everything together so bear with me . All connections are Chicago Screws except short strap is sewn to ring which allows every thing to pivot to fit me exactly , but it can certainly be connected by whatever means works for you .
  4. I think someone mentioned " consignment shops and K C should have some . Just know the local ones here want a percentage of the sale and if your stuff don't sell and you pull it , they still want a small fee . Word of mouth , which is slower is what I get work from . Good luck to you !
  5. Nice work for sure !! Bert the Wrangler and Single Six are single actions so unless you back the hammer before you draw there ain't much way of an un-intentional discharge . Now I don't put it past someone somewhere to do just that but that person needs to " put the revolver down and step away "
  6. Ah ,, I just didn't enlarge big enough .Tooling on cartridge holder is what I was looking at and it's still nice !
  7. Looks fine. I think the feathers are a nice touch and the tooling looks great ! I can't tell what is on the conchos ?
  8. Just wish I could do as good ! Nicely done
  9. Very NICE !!!! maybe a little lighter color for the belly ?
  10. My bs meter just pegged out !!!!
  11. Very nice !!
  12. Check out Sam Andrews on youtube . Andrews leather I think . You will think he is nuts the first time you see him cutting , at least I did . Now that is the only way I cut but I use something like an exacto knife with # 11 blade .......... works real well for me !! 9/10 oz is the thickest I cut though
  13. My EDC is a shoulder holster that I use with whatever I carry ( revolver 98% of the time ) semi auto on rare occasions . Then there are a very few times I need to go somewhere I can't carry so this is my work around ... better than strong language
  14. I like the diamond shape better but as you say " personal preference " . For what I am wanting 3/8 (10mm ) is plenty big enough . I see your reasoning but I may have enough quilting coming to justify getting a stamp .
  15. @PastorBob Yes Sir , SLC is where I found them . Is the 296 the same as your diamond quilt pattern ? @fredk Thank you for the info and that would be about right . After I looked at shipping ..... I think II can get it for a little less and maybe quicker through SLC .
  16. Thank you fredk ! Both are very much what I have in mind and the prices seem good as well .
  17. OUTSTANDING !!!! and again Thank you , like you I had to take a break but this will prompt me to start again .
  18. Looks good ! I can almost see your reflection in the edge
  19. Thanks chuck !! Your cup looks great and that is almost exactly what the 296 stamp looks like .
  20. I need to get a quilted center stamp ( like 296 ) but this is close to what I want for the final look .
  21. Just a thought .... Would not the person you bought them from have the information you seek ? edit : really quick search suggest that they be worn -in and they will loosen to fit your hand
  22. Looks great !
  23. Look at router pads or maybe even shelve liner , might be something you could use . Hope you find something !!
  24. If you are just talking one or two times use , a brooch or woman's lapel pin might get the job done . Most are pretty detailed and made of metal , price would be right . If you are needing a REAL stamp, I have wasted your time reading this LOL!
  25. @Stewart Thank you and I am going to have some fun with this .
