Front pocket wallet

Very nice and those little imperfections if noticed just show that it was handmade. As much as we try to be machines with our work we are not. -
Gorgeous just gorgeous

New Man Bag

Very nice really like the boarder. -
Yep it's 5oz veg tan, dyed with a heavily diluted dark brown stain. The wrinkles came from me sewing the bag so the seem would be inside and then turning it right side out, well that didn't work out with the leather thickness so I flipped back cut the stitching apart. Put it back together by resewing it. Few lessons learned - flipping a 5oz bag inside out doesn't work (at least this small) - really think about assembly before starting to sew things together by hand. -hardware is difficult to find locally

Most Overkill Knife Sheath Ever?
Fire88 replied to Instinctive's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Looks good and will take a beating the cord really pops and will make it easy to find. Nice work -
No I swivel knifed it and then used a modeling tool to open the cuts and add a little shape to them. I painted the lines with black paint instead of antique as I was afraid of not being able to remove it from the wrinkles in the leather.

Nice work -
Using a brush I always start in the middle and work to the edge as the paint is depleted out of the brush. Watching the video of using a needle to paint looks way easier and faster, think I will give it a try.

Celtic inspired custom baroque bridle
Fire88 replied to velvetwastaken's topic in Saddle & Tack Maker Gallery
Very nicely done!!! -
That's kinda what I was thinking on such thin leather being already tooled befor dyeing the back. While working on some other things today I was thinking about doing a test piece by dyeing the back then tooling and dyeing the front. I'll give it ago soon and see what happens.
