  1. Wow, that could pass as a picture taken a few years back. I can see you making a few $$ sketching family pets. I see alot of edc applications. You have a real talent.
  2. Nothing wrong with that basket weave
  3. Welcome back! There seems to always be something or someone that brings us all back to the craft. It appears that you still have the touch. The tooling is not bad for being away that long. I have found that it gets more and more satisfying as time goes by.
  4. I still stand by my first comment, while this may not be yours , you have come up with some really great ideas.
  5. Nice dragon scales. I bet that took awhile. I wish I had the creative "flow" for idea's that you have. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Nice step out of the box on your design.
  7. The retention would most likely be how tight you wear the belt, that is how the pancake design works. Or I may be completely wrong. The tooling is beautiful
  8. I can't tell , did you use one piece , or are there several stitched together? Did you happen to see the yt from Springfield Leather, that went into a steering wheel cover. It was very good. You have now inspired me to give it a try. I think you did a great job. I'm debating to dye or not to dye, that is the question.
  9. Amazing all the way around. I really like the dye job. Air brush?
  10. Chuck, man is that beautiful!
  11. That is one nifty sheath . I like the design, and choice of stitching. Even when I wear gloves I still get the dye, stain on my hands.
  12. A beautiful piece of work!
  13. I must agree, does not take long to knock them out, once you get the process down. I have probably made close to 5 to 6 hundred of these over the years.
  14. Thanks, they can be fun to make.
  15. Making them yourself will give you so much joy and satisfaction, you won't regret diving in. Be sure and let us know how you are progressing, and welcome from Fla.
  16. You nailed one of the most difficult, imo, parts and that is the eyes. Really a very nice project!
  17. Thanks for the kind words.
  18. It has been a while since I did any carving. Here are a couple of quick pancakes hot off the 'griddle".
  19. Very nice work. In English it would be natural. I will have to visit Conchos.com , thanks for the info.
  20. All I can say is classy.
