  1. Great job on the tooling. Amazing what we can make out of a piece of scrap. Nicely done.
  2. Great job on grouping the leaves in the corner, then coming out from there with them. Nice design. Something to consider on the next one...may want to have the circled parts below so they don't show the flesh side of the leather. Maybe cut an additional piece the same size as the flap and sandwich the ring in between. You also may want to touch up that thread end with a lighter. Love the colors too.
  3. Carving looks great. Well done.
  4. Love seeing your work, my friend. Great job as always. Those sheaths are beautifully done.
  5. hahahaha....I thought this was about a Polish (as in Poland) hammer...wondered how they made 'em different.
  6. Welcome to the forum. Definitely a lot you can find here as well as share. Wonderful work on that quiver.
  7. what didn't you like about it? When was the last time you used one? They have made upgrades. Not saying I would buy one either, they are pricey...I just have the luxury of borrowing one.
  8. Have any pics for reference?
  9. Inkscape is available for computers, but not on Android. Not sure if it's availabe on Apple. Free. Works well.
  10. I have the luxury of "borrowing" a Glowforge. It can do awesome engraving, but has issues cutting 4-5 oz or thicker leather. There are better solutions for cutting, just don't know what the best is for both.
  11. Always good information from Leodis Leather. Sometimes he is a little long in getting to the point, but always great information.
  12. Fabulous detail on tooling. Agreed, what a beautiful piece.
  13. I would just antique it to show off those carved lines you so carefully created.
  14. Good choices. Great work!!!!
  15. my pleasure.
  16. Good to know. I will keep that in mind.
  17. The entire piece (brown and green) is one piece of leather. The green area is died a different color than the brown.
  18. Can you show some examples where you have used it? I have never bleached leather. Thanks.
  19. You could definitely antique it to show off your carving skills. That would look pretty cool, I think.
  20. I have yet to make a metal stamp. How long did it take you to make them? What was your inspiration behind these particular designs?
  21. nicely done. I am glad you are able to repurpose the leather and make it "new" again. Great job.
  22. Even on Amazon too.
  23. Pretty awesome design, execution, and color. I struggle with gussets. You did a great job.
  24. nice looking bag. He will love it. I am sure you will hear from him soon.
